With 12 years of design under my belt, I’ve had the pleasure of helping dozens of families and individuals create their dream home. I’m passionate about diet coke, traveling, and creating spaces that are both liveable and luxurious.
Your entryway is the first thing impression of your home for both you and your guests, so it’s always a great space to start for a refresh! A quick way to spruce up your entry is by adding a few simple items to feel collected and welcoming into your home. We’ve put together a list of the perfect pieces to make an entryway impression.
A bench or console table is a great place to start. Often times you can use an existing bench or console table to set the foundation, followed by a rug to define the area and bring in a pop of color, pattern and personality (I even swapped my entry rugs out depending on the time and feel of the seasons)! If you want to get a little more creative, consider adding a rug to help define the space. These items will not only make your entryway feel cozier, but they’ll also give you a place to put your keys and shoes when you walk.
A round mirror, lamp or tall vase, and greenery are some of our tried and true go to pieces to bring in. Greenery always makes a space feel fresh and inviting. The collection of these pieces help to make the space feel more pulled together and intentional. And of course, don’t forget the finishing touches like a catch all tray or key holder!
Adding a few key items to your entryway will make all the difference in how you feel coming and going from your home sweet home. So, next time you’re feeling like your home needs a little pick-me-up, don’t forget about your entryway! A few simple changes can go a long way. Give it a try or better yet bring photos into our shop and we can help curate the perfect items for you to try out in your home.
